EILENE

Eilene Epperson is a distinguished dance instructor with a lifelong passion for the art of dance. Starting her dance journey at the tender age of three, Eilene grew up honing her skills primarily in ballet and tap and actively participated in pre-professional musical theater productions through high school and college.

Her early dedication and talent led her to the International City School of Ballet, where she further refined her craft. At just 15, Eilene began imparting her knowledge and enthusiasm for dance by teaching both children and adults at the Academy of Dance.

Eilene holds a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, equipping her with the expertise to teach students of all ages and develop curriculum that meets the diverse needs of every dancer. She has also been a member of Breaking Walls Dance Company, Xtensity, and Aesthetic Ballet Ensemble, further showcasing her versatility and commitment to the dance community.

After completing her college education, Eilene joined Dancefx Atlanta. There, she not only continued her personal development as a dancer but also took on the significant role of directing youth and adult dance companies. Her love for choreography shines through in her work, as she constantly seeks to create innovative and expressive dance pieces. Eilene's extensive  experience and deep commitment to dance education make her an inspiring mentor and leader in the dance community. She cannot wait to see what the future has in store for Metro Atlanta Dance!
